INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN UZBEKISTAN: FOSTERING INTERETHNIC RELATIONS

This article explores Uzbekistan's efforts to foster interethnic relations within its multicultural society. With over 130 ethnic groups residing within its borders, Uzbekistan has recognized the importance of creating an inclusive environment that respects the rights and cultural identities of all its citizens. Through initiatives such as cultural preservation, interethnic dialogue, inclusive policies, and international cooperation, Uzbekistan has made significant progress in promoting unity and harmony among diverse ethnic groups. This article highlights the historical background, post-independence initiatives, and key strategies employed by Uzbekistan to strengthen interethnic relations. It also discusses the challenges faced and offers recommendations for further enhancing interethnic understanding and cooperation.
