FROM THE HISTORY OF REPRESSIONS IN KARAKALPAKSTAN IN THE 1930S

Abstract

In this article, the author, A. Ermanov, explores the history of repressions that took place in Karakalpakstan in the 1930s. He focuses on the political terror that permeated society at that time and its impact on the lives of local residents. Through the analysis of archival sources and documents from the Central State Archive of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the author reveals the scale of the repressions, their victims, and the methods employed.
