Abstract

This article is carried out in line with linguistic research and is devoted to the issues of lexical and stylistic analysis of J. R. R. Tolkien's novel "The Lord of the Rings". Achieving this goal involves solving the following series of theoretical and practical tasks such as modern literature, giving a description of the stylistic features of J.R.R.Tolkien's novel "The Lord of the Rings"; to characterize the poetological context of the novel and the idiostyle of J. R. R. Tolkien, to analyze the lexical and stylistic features of the novel.
